About Catherine Singstad, MFT

I am a board licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering individual and couples psychotherapy and counseling.

My style is collaborative, warm, and down-to-earth. I specialize in integrative, holistic psychotherapy – a synthesis of relational psychotherapy, mind-body modalities, and attachment-based approaches. I bring many years of mindfulness meditation, marriage, parenting, yoga practice, and personal therapy to my work as a therapist.

I received a masters degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and an undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University. I regularly participate in advanced training and education in many areas, including Dan Siegel MD’s psychobiological approach, EMDR, Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) method for working with couples, Hakomi, and Experiential Couples Therapy.
